Three inspirational music videos

Video: "Kickstarts" by Example
This music video has influenced our final planning decisions because we incorporated
the ideas of the fast rapid shots of the changing faces. This was a very good editing technique that we wanted to use because the girls stayed in the same position but just interchanged throughout. (From about 0.40 seconds) This encouraged us to film as many girls as possible so it would fill the time frame of how long the fast beat consisted for. As a result we filmed about 20 girls but still require more for other parts of the music video. As for mise en scene we kept a casual look for our artist and made him wear a simple outfit of a hoodie with jeans and vans for footwear.

Video: "How you gonna act like that" by Tyrese
I actually just stumped upon this video and it slightly conveyed the type of narrative that we wanted to show in our music video. We were initially showing how both the artist (male) and his 'girlfriend' cheat on one another in the video but we though it was far to complicated with the amount of ideas we had so we narrowed it down to just the artist reminiscing about his previous relationship that went wrong and him thinking back to moments where he was happy with his ex girlfriend. Just like in this video we see shots of Tyrese remembering him spending time with his ex (at o.15 seconds) we see the couple emerge on the bench using a fade in effect. This can be an example of a 'memory'. The location is quite similar to use as it is in an open space in daylight.

Video: "Nothing on you" by B.o.b
This two does the idea of faces that we wanted to create and the artist also has allot of one on one action with different girls (from 1.35seconds) this slightly illustrates how we are showing our artist as a guy who has a personal love interest but still is interested in other girls.
