Hey blogger, i follow our chosen artist on Twitter and he recently tweeted about his latest music video and he sent a link telling his fans to check it out so i did. I was AMAZED, i love the song its actually pretty cool. The music video itself is quite simple but still fascinating. I really liked the use of the colour of the footage, its kind of off colour like it has had an effect put over it and so looks rather dull and bland but i think its a good thing because it contrasts the name of the song, 'Midnight run' (which by the way i think it a lovely title)
This video however has so many shots of locations and scenery which yet again helps set the mood of the song and the use of Example driving along a road throughout the video reiterates the word 'run' in the song title as if he is driving away from something or someone.
I hope to use the same effect of the shots in my music video as i feel that it goes with the mood of the song we chose as well. Similarly to our chosen song by Example the use of the fast up tempo base track is used here again in Midnight run.
