Testing out some of the footage that we have filmed so far

We decided to play around with some of the footage that we have filmed so far. This way we could plan and put together shots that we had to illustrate our ideas with real footage and create an animatic. We tested out different effects and make a few shots slower in order to make them fit in with the mood of the song. 

We added a glowing effect to one of the shots to see how it would look but we realised that in music videos they tend not to use effects like that and it may be argued that in doing so it's hiding the fact that the filming process went a bit wrong. 

We added in some of the lip syncing of our artist Joe to see how it matched up with the actual recording of the song over it. The task was a little bit difficult because Joe was lip syncing too slow so it was tricky finding the part of the song that he was singing. 

This was a useful task for us to do so that we knew what shots we needed next time we filmed and where we were planning to put particular shots and edits. This made the further planning stages easier and more helpful so we used our time efficiently when we had the media equipment next time.
